Meet Dr. Brian F. Scaff
Meet Brian F. Scaff, DDS
Dr. Brian F. Scaff is a native Texan, who grew up in the Grapevine area near DFW. When he’s not working, Dr. Scaff is a die-hard Longhorns fan. He and his wife, Cari, can be found at football, basketball, and baseball games.

A Lifetime of Education and More
Dr. Scaff started his education at the University of Texas in Austin. He then attended the UT Health School of Dentistry-Pace Center. He enjoyed the self-paced curriculum that allowed time for other learning opportunities.
Clinically, Dr. Scaff remembers a retired military professional who needed quite a bit of work. He treated him several times each week. Dr. Scaff ended up doing 14 root canals, and the crowns that went with them. He believes he completed at least 50% of his requirements on just one patient!
He graduated in 1982 and began practicing shortly after in the North Austin area. Over the years, Dr. Scaff has dedicated a lot of time to continuing education. He achieved a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and spent several weeks training at the prestigious Pankey Institute.
Dr. Scaff has pursued advanced dental training, including the Six Months Smiles® cosmetic orthodontics training. He continues to take classes regularly with the Seattle Study Club, a worldwide organization focusing on interdisciplinary studies.
Making a Difference
Dr. Scaff believes in giving back. Active in the community, he participated in the Smiles for Life campaign, raising money for children’s charities locally and worldwide. He’s a member of the American Dental Association, and Texas Dental Association, and a former president of the Capital Area Dental Society. He continues to work with and for the dental community.
Outside the Practice
Dr. Scaff enjoys fishing and gardening and is an avid DIYer. There’s sure to be some project in the works at home. He also enjoys spending time with his two grown children when they are home and his chickens.
